Be my eyes is an app available on apple and android smart phones that allows individuals to locate and differentiate items, move around an unfamiliar terrain, and other task that individuals may need assistance with. Through a video call, individuals are able to connect with volunteers who watch through the screen and can answer any questions the individual may have. Be My Eyes allows you to sign up as a sighted individual, in which you can volunteer, or as visually impaired. This app is widely used with over 2 million sighted volunteers available and growing. The app allows people to receive visual assistance and can be useful for those living independently.This app is available on both ios and Android Devices so it is fairly accessible.

I personally feel the app is a comfortable and safe way to get instant and accurate help. Furthermore, it is a useful way for people to support the disabled community by signing up as a volunteer.
